On-Farm Classes and Hands-On Learning
Our classes and workshops will have you step into the Farm Kitchen & Processing Room to learn about and participate in transforming seasonal produce into finished products.
We delight in cooking and preserving our farm fresh food. Our offers range from Cider Pressing and/or canning; cheese making; hands on Kraut making or simple cooking lessons such as Spinach Roulade or Bone Broth.
Field Workshops offer hands-on learning about actual work and practices done on our farm and that can scale to the homestead, home garden or small farm. Each year, we partner with a variety of subject matter experts to offer learning opportunities on orchard, silvo-pasture, grazing, livestock & regenerative agriculture.
Types of workshops we offer:
Cooking Classes
Learn all the steps and make your own chèvre cheese, sausage, kraut, preserves, cider, and other seasonal workshops.
How to “Farm”
Learn to graft fruit trees, help with the harvest of the day and then head into the farmhouse kitchen for hands on processing.
Farmer in Training
Your chance to assist the farmers with their daily work, learning how to care for the animals and plants on the farm.
